🔺 Weekly Honors. The football team had two players earn Mountain West Conference honors. Austin Brawley was name the Defensive Player of the Week. He returned from missing the past eight games and 10 weeks after breaking a bone in the season opener against Michigan. He recorded two interceptions along with three tackles. Luke Drzewiecki was named the Special Teams Player of the Week. He went 2-for-2 on extra points and 2-for-2 on field goals.

🔺 Fresh Moves. Women's basketball player Tyler Jones was named the Old Trapper Mountain West Freshman of the Week. Jones had a season-high six points, season-high three rebounds and season- and game-high four assists at New Mexico State. She also played a season-high 22 minutes. For the week, she averaged 5.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 3.0 assists and 20.5 minutes per game.
