🔺 Conference Dub. The men’s basketball team won its conference opener against San Jose State 88-65 on Saturday night. The Lobos are now 10-2 overall and 1-0 in Mountain West play. This extends the team’s win streak at home to 19 games. New Mexico shot 57.4% from the field. Milos Vicentic scored a season-high 19 points off the bench to lead the team.

🔺 Met the Mark. The dive team competed against the University of Nevada on Friday. Esme Abbadi-Macintosh and Alice English both hit Zone E qualifying marks to set up a spot in the NCAA postseason. The swim team finished the weekend against UC Davis on Saturday. Mollie Gorman took fourth in the 100 and 200-meter breast.

🔺 Stat Check. The women’s basketball team faced UNLV on Saturday. Cacia Antonio led the team with a season-high 22 points. Destinee Hooks finished with 13 points to extend her double-digit streak to 13 games. The women shot 44.10% but fell 89-71.
