🔺 Mark the Calendar! The volleyball team announced its 2026 schedule. The Lobos will play a majority of their home matches at The Pit. UNM is set to play four power-conference opponents in the nonconference. The Lobos officially open the regular season at home on Friday, Aug. 28, hosting California Baptist. The regular season closes at home against Wyoming on Nov. 18 and 19, with the finale serving as Senior Day. All of New Mexico’s Mountain West matches will be available live on the league’s subscription platform MW+.

🔺 At the Top. Silver Waves Media has announced its list of the Top Athletic Directors in America, and Ryan Berryman, who was formally named UNM’s 15^th Vice President/Director of Athletics on March 4 after serving over two months in an interim capacity, was one of 70 ADs to make the list, and he is the youngest Division I AD on the list, and he currently is the second youngest Division I AD in the country. Berryman was also one of only two Mountain West ADs on the list, joining Erick Harper of UNLV. Berryman’s two predecessors at UNM, Fernando Lovo and Eddie Nuñez, were also honored.
