🔺 Big Win. The men’s basketball team beat Air Force 98-61 on Tuesday. This marked the team’s 20th win of the season. It is the fourth straight-season New Mexico has reached 20 wins. Antonio Chol scored a season-high 20 points to lead the Lobos. Jack Hall had 16 points.

🔺 First Honor. Baseball player Gené Trujillo was named the Mountain West Player of the Week. This is the second MW weekly honor of his career and his first Player of the Week honor. Trujillo batted. 563 with a team-high 10 RBI’s. He also scored five runs.

🔺 Welcome! The football team named Carson Walch the new passing game coordinator/receivers coach. With this, the newly hired associate head coach Zach Lujan will move to tight ends. Walch has spend the last five seasons with the Cleveland Browns as the Director of Player Development.

🔺 Wrapped Up. The women’s golf team finished 14th at the Alice and John Wallace Golf Classic. The team shot 64-over. Ava Cepeda led the team with a 36th-place individual finish. Chelsea Truong followed in 46th place.
