🔺 Leading the Way. One year after breaking a Mountain West record with 231 Scholar-Athletes, the Lobos picked up 227 Scholar-Athletes, tying for the second-most in league history. Overall, the Lobos led the Mountain West for a fourth consecutive season, and for the 12th time in the last 13 years. To earn Mountain West Scholar-Athlete status, student-athletes needed a 3.5 GPA for the year.
🔺 Welcome! Vice President and Director of Athletics Ryan Berryman has announced that Brandon Kendrick has been named Deputy Athletic Director and Chief Operating Officer. Kendrick most recently served as the Head of Training Venues for the LA28 Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games. Kendrick will officially begin his duties on August 17. In his new role, Kendrick will be responsible for oversight of capital projects, event management, facilities, and concessions and hospitality operations. He will assist with human resources, contract management, and financial matters while also serving as a sport administrator for multiple programs.
