🔼 Back With The Pack. We’re welcoming Coach Bronco Mendenhall back to Albuquerque as the Head Coach of Lobo Football! Coach Mendenhall was the Lobo Defensive Coordinator from 1998-2002. He’s a proven winner, holding a 135-81 career head coaching record. His teams have been bowl eligible in 16 of 17 seasons. He was the head coach at BYU for 11 years and Virginia for six. In 2019, he led the Cavaliers to the Capital One Orange Bowl and finished the season ranked No. 15. We’re thrilled to have him back in New Mexico!

🔼  Put A Dent In ‘Em. The men’s basketball team won their seventh-straight game last night with an 84-61 victory over UC Santa Barbara! Donovan Dent led the way with 23 points and eight assists. JT Toppin and Tru Washington were making their cases for more Freshman of the Week awards. JT had 18 points, going 8-9 shooting, while Tru had 17 points. The Lobos’ 13 steals were the most in the Pitino era. They’ll prep for another trip to Las Vegas for the Jack Jones Classic.

🔼  Family Affair. The women’s basketball team is home tonight, hosting Southern Utah at 7pm. It’s Family Day, so kids 12 and under get in free! The Lobos are on a three-game winning streak, while the Thunderbirds are coming off of a loss at Texas A&M - Commerce. The ‘Bos are averaging 72.0 points per game this season. 🐺 ONE BIG THING

The 2024 baseball schedule is finally here! The Lobos will play 30 games in Albuquerque this season and 30 conference games. Five of their opponents reached NCAA Regionals last season and there will be 27 games against opponents in the Top 150 of last year’s final RPI rankings. Last season, the Lobos posted their best winning percentage in a full season since 2017.
