⚾️ Numbers don’t lie
🐺 And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Historic Ride. Lobos men’s golfer Matthew Watkins made it to the fourth round of the NCAA Championship and finished tied in 28th. This was the best individual finish by a Lobo since 2013. He opened the event with a 4-under which tied for the lowest round at a NCAA final in school history. He finished Sunday with a total of 283 which was the lowest 72-hole round in program history.

🔼 California Dreamin’. Former New Mexico women’s golfer Manon De Roey punched her ticket to Pebble Beach for the U.S. Women’s Open! She shared third place with 2-under par and sealed her spot in the playoff at the U.S. Women’s Open Qualifier. The championship will be July 6-9.

🔼  Call It A Success. The Lobos baseball team had some of their highest stats in years and led the Mountain West in multiple categories. They led the conference in batting average, home runs, slugging percentage, fielding percentage, runs, hits, triples, RBI, on base percentage, and more. The Lobos held the lowest ERA since 2016. There were also 5 Mountain West Player of the Week selections and 3 All-Conference players.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Head Honcho. New Mexico Athletic Director Eddie Nunez joined the AthleticDirectorU at the NCAA Convention to discuss alignment and retaining staff members to bring a vision to reality. Check it out here!
