🔼 Can You Dig It? The Lobos were crowned the champions of the adidas/UCI Invitational! The accolades don’t stop there. Angela Crosetti was named the Mountain West Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week after leading the conference by logging 68 digs. The Lobos are on top of the conference with 239 digs and 19.91 digs per set. They’ll be back in action this weekend, hosting the Lobo Invitational.

🔼 Fore! There aren’t many more spots available for the 13th annual Lobo Baseball Golf Outing Fundraiser, so be sure to register now! The event will be at the Santa Ana Golf. Club on Friday, October 13 at 9:00am. If you can’t play but want to be involved, there are different sponsorship opportunities. You can be a hole sponsor, beverage card sponsor, or a title sponsor!

🔼 Guess Who’s Back? Sam is back! Former New Mexico star Sam Saunders has been named the men’s golf assistant coach! He played for the Lobos from 2011-15, then spent 7 years playing professional golf. He helped the Lobos win the 2014 Mountain West Championship and earned All-Mountain West honors as a senior. His brother and uncles also golfed for the Lobos, so it’s a family affair.

What does Sam say? “I was born and raised in Albuquerque and had family play here, so I have truly grown up around this program. I appreciate the opportunity to come back and look forward to helping UNM golf have continued success.” Welcome back!
