📈 STOCK UP

🔼 City Of Champions. The Lobos crowned six champions at the Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend. Lokesh Sathyanathan led the way with an incredible long jump performance to win. The Lobos swept the steeple chase with Maisie Grice winning the women’s and Awet Yohannes winning the men’s. Stefanie Parsons won the 1500m and broke the conference championship record. Amelia Mazza-Downie took her fourth title in the 5000m. The 4×400 men’s relay team took the title as they dominated on Saturday.

🔼 Nevada Split. The Lobos split the four-game baseball series with Nevada over the weekend. They took one a piece in Friday’s double header, Nevada took the Saturday game, and New Mexico took the Sunday game. The Lobos launched back-to-back home runs yesterday to push the count to 85 on the season, tied for third most in program history. The Lobos are back in action tomorrow at New Mexico State.

🔼  Ready For Regionals. The men’s golf team kicks things off today in the Salem Regional in South Carolina. The 14-team tournament lasts three days with one round per day. The top-5 teams will head to the NCAA Championships. The Lobo lineup includes Bastien Amat, Albert Boneta, Matthew Watkins, Carson Herron, and Brandon Shong.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Top Performer. Lokesh Sathyanathan was named Performer of the Meet at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships after his stunning performance where he became the second athlete in Mountain West history to surpass the 8 meter mark in the long jump.
