🔼 Camping Chaos. Basketball camp has been taking place on campus, led by Coach Pitino and the men’s and women’s basketball teams. Check out the chaos here!

🎥 Women’s assistant coach Nike McClure had a busy day in the office with loads of distraction during camp!

🏀 Classic At The Pit. Speaking of chaos on the court, let’s go back to the 1998 win over No. 3 Utah in The Pit. Some know it as “the Royce Olney game” considering he nailed five three-balls and the game winner. The Lobos were down the entire game until the 22-second mark when Kenny Thomas made a pair of free throws. Utah was the only undefeated team at that point, and their streak was now over. The Lobos remained undefeated in The Pit.

🔼 Coach ‘Em Up. Last week, Pro Football Hall of Fame members Darrell Green, Drew Pearson, and Tony Dorsett came into University Stadium to bring football to everyone. The Lobos worked with Western Sky Community Care and the New Mexico Activities Association to work with high school players and give back to the youth.

Curtain Call. Former Lobo Jadyn Edwards made her NSWL debut with OL Reign with her old coaches and 16,000+ fans in the stands. She tallied 31 goals and 24 assists during her five years at New Mexico, and now her talents are on the big stage. She signed with OL Reign earlier this week after being drafted by Racing Louisville FC in the third round of the 2023 NWSL Draft.
