📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Cowboys & Lobos. The Lobos have no easy feat tomorrow at Wyoming. The Cowboys are 3-1 and receiving votes in national polls since their win over Texas Tech. However, the Lobos have had a deal of success over Wyoming, going 2-1 under Coach Gonzales. New Mexico also leads the all-time series in Laramie, 20-19. The game will be on the Mountain West Network and the Lobo Radio Network.

🔼 Aced It. The women’s tennis team had a heck of a week at Northern Arizona, where they went 7-1 in doubles! Three Lobos also picked up a pair of singles wins — Leonie Hoppe, Maria Sodre, and Katherine Jhang. Leonie and Maria went a perfect 3-0 in doubles with wins over Tulsa and Grand Canyon. The twin team of Maud and Bente Vandeputte went 3-0 in doubles also.

🔼 Cherry Attire. The Lobos took a loss to Utah State last night, but Kaitlynn Biassou and Athina Dimitriadis supplied 53% of New Mexico’s kills. Kaitlynn recorded her third-straight double-double with 14 kills. The Lobo volleyball squad continues their home-stand on Saturday at 1:00pm when Boise State comes to town. Tickets are just $2 and it’s a Cherry Out! What a perfect pregame for football!

🔼 Man Of The Month. Lobo men’s golfer Matthew Watkins was named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Month for September! He’s started the season with three top-10 finishes. He started off with a sixth-place finish at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate, then earned his first career top-5 finish at the USF Intercollegiate where he finished tied for fifth, and most recently he tied for seventh at the Tucker Intercollegiate. He’s the first Lobo to receive the honor since Bastien Amat in April of 2022.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

The Lobos are kicking off their fall softball season tomorrow at home against Otero. There’s a double header scheduled for 2pm & 4pm before the Lobos head to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech in two games on Sunday. After the volleyball game, head to the Lobo Softball Field to get a sneak peek of the team. Admission is free!
