🔺 Schedule Announced. The cross country team released the 2026 schedule! The Lobos will compete six times during the 2026 season. UNM will host the season opener and the NCAA Mountain Region Championships at the UNM North Golf Course. The UNM Lobo Cross Country Invitational opens the season on Sept. 5.

🔺 Hired! New Mexico graduate Jeremiah Aguirre was hired as the Assistant Director of Creative Video. Aguirre started as a creative services intern for the past year. He created video content for social media, digital platforms, recruiting, and promotional campaigns. In his new role, he will focus on many of UNM’s Olympic sports with video and content creation, as well as creating special video projects for social media, recruiting, and in-house production.
