Meet Nicole Anderson. Today, we’re introducing you to soccer freshman Nicole Anderson! She has a lot on her plate as a student-athlete majoring in biology. Find out more about her, including what her hype song is!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Bucked The Broncos. The volleyball team defended their home court when Boise State came to town, getting the 3-1 win! They held the Broncos to just .109 hitting over the last two sets. Uxue Guereca and Melissa Walden secured double-double’s and the team put up a season-high 16 blocks. The 10-5 Lobos are now 2-2 in conference play.

🔼 Oui, Oui. The Lobo soccer team got the 2-1 comeback win over Air Force yesterday! Nicole Anderson got the ball to Sophia Roberts in the 69th minute for the Lobos first goal, after being down 0-1. Paris Dalton came through a few minutes later and scored the winning goal. Check out all of the highlights!

🔼 Kept It Close. The Lobos dropped their first conference game in a sea of yellow at Wyoming. Although it ended in a 35-26 loss for the Lobos, there were a handful of positives. New Mexico broke the 400-yard mark for the third time this season. Jeremiah Hixon got his first touchdown as a Lobo on a 17-yard reception and Devon Dampier threw his first touchdown pass. Aaron Rodriguez had his best game of the season, averaging 50.3 yards per punt.

The Lobos head into a BYE week to reset and prepare for San José State.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

The Lobo baseball team and softball team got to volunteer at the ALS Walk over the weekend! The teams got a little break from the fields before another week full of scrimmages and fall ball games. Check out this week’s baseball schedule!
