🔼 Dog Fight. No. 1 vs. No. 2 in the conference, Lobos vs. Bulldogs — the ultimate dog fight. The Lobos will take on Fresno State this weekend at Santa Ana Field! The Bulldogs hold first-place in the Mountain West, while the Lobos sit in second. It’s been more than week since New Mexico played in a conference game. First pitch is set for 6 pm today, tomorrow’s game will be played at 2 pm, and the series will end on Sunday with a noon start. All three games can be streamed on the Mountain West Network.

👀 Lobos to watch:

  • Jake Holland is the league leader with 10 home runs, second in RBI with 36, and third in batting average with a .373.

  • Reed Spenrath has a league high four triples so far this season. He ranks second in total bases with 78.

🔼  The Thunder Rolls. The 19th-ranked men’s golf team is teeing off at the regular season finale — the ASU Thunderbird Intercollegiate in Phoenix, Arizona. The Lobos will play two rounds today and the final round tomorrow. Six of the 17 teams are ranked in the top 20 of the national rankings — No. 4 Arizona State, No. 8 Washington, No. 9 Arizona, No. 10 Texas Tech, No. 14 Oklahoma, and the Lobos. The lineup will consist of Albert Boneta, Matthew Watkins, Carson Herron, Bastien Amat, and Connor Adams. New Mexico finished their last two tournaments in second-place.

🔼 For The Seniors. The women’s tennis team will celebrate three seniors on Sunday as they host Wyoming at 11 am. It’ll be the last home match for Katherine Jhang, Hsuan Huang, and Leonie Hoppe. The Lobos are 17-2 overall and 6-1 in Mountain West play as they sit at the top of the conference leaderboard.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Family: First, Last, Always means taking your Lobo teammates in as brothers. Tight end Max Lantzsch couldn’t go home to Germany to see his family over spring break, so his teammate Mihalis Santorineos invited him to spend the week with his family in California.
