📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Early Birds. Athlon Sports came out with their preseason 2023 Mountain West All-Conference picks and many Lobos make the list! Christian Washington grabbed first-team specialists and fourth-team offense picks. Aaron Rodriguez and Luke Wysong also received a specialist pick on the second-team and fourth-team. Donte Martin and Tavian Combs earned a second-team and fourth-team defense pick. CJ James received third-team offense and J.C. Davis received fourth-team offense picks.

🔼 Onto The Quarters. Three Lobos are headed to the 400m quarterfinals on Friday at the NCAA West Preliminary. Jovahn Williamson finished 14th, Jevon O’Bryant finished 18th, and Brodie Young finished 20th. They all look to go to the national championships.

🔼  Chasing A Championship. It’s almost tournament time for New Mexico men’s golf at the NCAA Championship! The tournament starts tomorrow in Scottsdale, Arizona with the first three rounds running Friday through Sunday. The top 15 teams will play the final round of stroke play on Monday. The Lobo lineup includes Albert Boneta, Bastien Amat, Matthew Watkins, Carson Herron, and Brandon Shong.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Vamos. Lobos women’s basketball player Paula Reus was selected to the Spanish National Team U20 Trials! The team is preparing for the European Championship. Good luck, Paula!
