📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Earned It. The men’s basketball team earned a top-25 spot in the AP and Coaches Polls for the first time this season! The Lobos were ranked No. 25 by both polls. Last week, they dominated Air Force on the road and beat No. 16 Utah State in The Pit. They’ve beaten two ranked opponents so far this season. The Lobos will play at San José State on Wednesday night.

🔼  Top Rookie. We sound like a broken record week after week, but JT Toppin just keeps winning! He was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week for the sixth time this season. Yes, he earned it last week too. He averaged 18.5 points and nine rebounds last week, and recorded a double-double at Air Force. He now the first player to win Mountain West Freshman of the Week six times in the first 11 weeks of the season.

🔼 Her Turn. The conference awards didn’t stop with men’s basketball. Aniyah Augmon was named the Mountain West Player of the Week! She led the Lobos with 18.5 points per game, 4.5 steals per game, and 4.0 assists per game last week. She scored a career-high 22 points in their win against Wyoming.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

The men’s track & field team landed at No. 12 in the first USTFCCCA Poll of the indoor season! Seven distance times rank among the top-25 on the NCAA Indoor Qualifying list.
