📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Easy Breezy. The men’s basketball team extended their win-streak to three when they beat Air Force on Saturday, 85-66. JT Toppin led the team with 25 points and 13 rebounds as the first Lobo freshman to ever post a 20-and-10 game against a Mountain West opponent. Jamal Mashburn Jr. scored 13 points, while Tru Washington and Mustapha Amzil had 11 each. The Lobos had double-digit steals for the ninth time this season, recording 11.

🔼  Shutout Season. The Lobos men’s tennis team took over the Jack Kennedy Classic with a 7-0 shutout over ETSU. The Lobos took three wins in doubles and six in singles to shut out East Tennessee State. Arthur Bellegy and Georgio Samaha now lead the team with 10 wins on the season.

🔼 Stunning Saturday. The women’s basketball squad beat No. 23/25 UNLV on the road on Saturday! Viané Cumber made a three-pointer with 3.7 seconds left to beat the Rebels. She led the Lobos with 22 points and six three-pointers. Aniyah Augmon filled the score sheet with 15 points, seven assists, seven rebounds, and four steals. The Lobos are now 4-2 in Mountain West play and will host Fresno State on Wednesday at 7 pm.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Track & field runner Habtom Samuel set another school record over the weekend. He ran the fastest collegiate performance of the day in the mile with a 3:59.12, the second-fastest in the nation and fastest ever run by a collegiate athlete at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
