🔼 QB1 Mic’d Up. This week, we mic’d up quarterback Dylan Hopkins in fall camp. Coach Danny Gonzales said, “we haven’t had a starting quarterback around here that’s been established this long into camp," about Dylan and resting him throughout this week. 🔼 All Things Football. We have a kick time for game four at UMass! The Lobos will kick things off at 1:30pm MT/3:30pm ET on September 23. Broadcast information will be announced in a few weeks.

🏆 Coach Gonzales received the Outstanding Community Partner Award at the 2023 Rio Grande DSN Annual Meeting for being a light and inspiration in the community.

🔼 At The Amateur. Lobo golfer Lauren Lehigh won the round of 32 at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship yesterday. She had a busy day, as she had to move directly into the round of 16. That’s where she fell to Kyra Ly from Oregon State after a back-and-forth battle.

🔼 Class In Session. Join the Lobo Softball Fall Academy this fall to learn from New Mexico coaches and players! The team will offer weekly hitting, pitching, and defense clinics for students in 7th-12th grade. The hitting portion will focus on offensive development and swing and hitting approach. Each pitcher must bring their own catcher for the pitching portion. Defense will focus on fundamental development and working through the ball.
