Duece Jones Mic’d Up. Just because the season has started doesn’t mean the mic’d up football content is over. Today, we have wide receiver Duece Jones mic’d up! He’s responsible for 125 receiving yards and a touchdown in just three games this season.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 In A Land Far, Far Away. The Lobos are headed far east, like… the furthest they’ve ever gone east, for a date with the UMass Minutemen. This is the second first matchup between the two, the first scheduled match was slashed by COVID. The Lobos look to limit big plays and win the turnover battle. UMass’ only win was in Week 0 against New Mexico State. Kickoff is at 1:30pm MT and you can watch on ESPN+ or listen on the Lobo Radio Network.

🔼 Keep The Road Hot. The Lobo volleyball team opened up conference play at Nevada with a 3-2 win! Uxue Guereca picked up a double-double with 23 kills and 21 digs, and if you aren’t sure how to pronounce her name — she has you covered. Kaitlynn Biassou had a good night in her hometown, picking up 20 digs, 11 kills, and 2.5 blocks. They’ll continue their Mountain West road trip with a match at Fresno State on Saturday at 2:00pm.

🔼 Testing In Progress. The cross country teams are off to the Roy Griak Invite in Minnesota this morning for their first big test. The field includes a combined six teams that are ranked in the USTFCCCA Polls between the men’s and women’s races. This will be the first showing against national powers under first-year Head Coach Darren Gauson. The women’s team is currently ranked No. 19 nationally. The men’s 8k race starts this morning at 9:00am MT and the women’s 6k starts 45 minutes later.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Fri-Yay. It’s Friday and it’s game-week. That means, it’s Cherry Friday! Just because the Lobos are away doesn’t mean the deals are gone too. Visit Albertsons on Academy Road at 8am today to meet some radio talent and get some gear! There are plenty more Cherry Friday deals at places like Bubba's, Main Event, Laguna Burger, and Electric Playhouse.
