🔼  Undefeated In Vegas. The Lobos had another successful trip to The Dollar Loan Center over the weekend, getting a 93-76 win over Santa Clara in the Jack Jones Classic. That’s eight-straight for the Lobos and their fourth win in that arena this season. Five Lobos were in double figures, led by Donovan Dent who scored 22 points with six rebounds and four assists. Jemarl Baker Jr. had 17 points, going 4-6 from three. JT Toppin, Tru Washington, and Isaac Mushila each had 11 points. The Lobos had 18 steals, the most against a DI opponent since 2005.

🔼  Had A Field Day. The Lobo track and field team had a field day at the Air Force Holiday Opener on Friday, 13 Lobos recorded personal bests. Lauren Fowler led the way with a PR in the women’s long jump and brought home the win. Mikayla Harkley was right behind her in second-place. Lauren then went on to PR and win the 60m dash! Maja Gebauer won the pole vault with a new personal best of 4.10m, .01m short of an indoor program record. Four Lobos finished in the Top 6 of the event. They’ll pause the season for winter break and will return in January with four-straight meets at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

🔼 Picked The Pirates. The women’s basketball team got back in the win column thanks to a 68-55 victory over Hampton. Charlotte Kohl and Paula Reus had 14 points each. Paula had eight rebounds and Charlotte had six. Aniyah Augmon almost recorded a double-double, she had 11 points and nine rebounds. The Lobos move to 8-3 on the season and will wrap up their homestand hosting Western New Mexico on Sunday.
