Good morning! It’s officially November, which means the official start to basketball season is almost here! We have a men’s exhibition tonight — but first we’re showing you the highlights from the women's basketball Sunday exhibition!

🔼 Last Dress Rehearsal. The men’s basketball team has one final exhibition game tonight as they host New Mexico Highlands at 7pm. Tickets start at $15 at GoLobos.com/tickets. If you can’t make it out, you can tune in on the Lobo Radio Network. The Lobos are 65-6 all-time in preseason exhibition games. Last week, they defeated CSU Pueblo 83-65. After this, they’ll open the regular season on Monday when they host Texas Southern at 7:30pm.

🔼 On The Defense. The Lobo defense allowed 311 yards on Saturday at Nevada, the second lowest of the season. Dereck Moore recorded 10 tackles, Jermarius Lewis had 9 and 1.5 tackles for loss, Dimitri Johnson had 5 tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss and half a sack. 🔼  Representing Well. Four Lobos were named to the Mountain West 25^th Season Team in honor of the 25^th anniversary of the conference. Jennifer Williams (2008-11), Kelli Cornell (2009-12), Jessie Hix (2016-19), and Jadyn Edwards (2018-22) were some of the most successful soccer players in Lobo history. All four of them were a part of all six of New Mexico’s conference championships. The Lobos tied with BYU and San Diego State for the most players on the list.
