🔼 Secured the Dub. The football team beat Hawai’i 21-10 on Saturday. Scottre Humphrey had two touchdowns and Toa Fa’avae added one of his own. Humphrey recorded 90 rushing yards. Kiefer Sibley followed with 87 rushing yards. The Lobos tallied 337 total offensive yards.

🔼 Shutout! The women’s soccer team beat UNLV 2-0 on Sunday. The Lobos picked up three points, staying tied for third in the conference standings. Nicole Anderson and Alysa Whelchel each scored. The women had 15 shots and four shots on goal. Goalkeeper Alyson Campbell had five saves and Callie Droitsch had one save.

🔼 Preseason Debut. The men’s basketball team opened its preseason with a 92-64 win over Washington State. Jake Hall led the team with 22 points. Tunde Vahlberg Fasasi followed with 15 points. Uriah Tenette had 14 points. The Lobos shot 57.9% from the field, 53.8% from behind the arc and 54.5% from the free throw line.

🔼 Won It. The women’s volleyball team beat UTEP 3-1 on Saturday. This marked the team’s fifth win in the last six matches. Mina Stanojevic led the team with 15 kills and had 10 digs. Addison France had 11 kills.

🔼 Swimmin’. The swim and dive team secured its first win of the season on Friday. The Lobos beat UTRGV 184-110. UNM won all 14 swimming races and posted five PRs. Eight Lobos won the first eight individual swimming races, with no winner repeating. Ruby Sallah and Sophia Corder each had two PRs, and rookie Elsa Reel added a fifth.

🔼 Round of 16. The women’s tennis members competing in the ITA Mountain Regional made it to the Round of 16. Vianca Corley fell to her opponent from Boise State in the Round of 16. Corley advanced the furthest of UNM's six players entered in the tournament.
