🔺 That’s a Dub! The football team finished strong and beat Idaho State 32-22 on Saturday. Jack Layne, Scottre Humphrey and Deshaun Bankston made it to the end zone. New Mexico had a total of 237 rushing yards and 155 receiving yards. Layne connected on 13 of 21 passes. This marks the first win of the Coach Eck era.

🔺 Undefeated. The volleyball team remains undefeated after two victories this weekend. The Lobos beat Northwestern State 3-0 and Prairie View A&M 3-1. Against Northwest State, the women hit .282 as a team and recorded eight service aces. Addison France led the team with a career-high 17 kills against Prairie View A&M. This is the first time the program has had a 6-0 start to the season since 2021.

🔺 Shutout! The women’s soccer team beat New Mexico State 4-0 yesterday. Savanah Sanchez scored two goals. Alysa Whelchel and Alejandra Puerto added a goal each. The Lobos had 13 shots, and six were on goal. Jasmine Gonzalez-Rutt earned the win in goal with a career-high seven saves. Alyson Campbell played in goal for 13:35. The program is now undefeated through six matches for the first time since 2010.
