🔺 Victory! The football team beat New Mexico State 38-20 in the 15th edition of the Rio Grande Rivalry in front of a sell-out 37,440 crowd. New Mexico now leads the all-time series 75-35-8. Cade Keith, Shawn Miller, Dorian Thomas, Keegan Johnson and Scottre Humphrey all made it to the end zone. Quarterback Jack Layne completed 23 of 30 passes for 303 yards and four touchdowns. The defense tied the program’s single-game record with nine sacks.

🔺 Top 3. The cross country teams finished strong at the Cowboy Jamboree. The men finished second and the women finished third. Marion Jepngetich and Collins Kiprotich led the way with third-place individual finishes.

🔺 One Win. The volleyball team won one match against Boise State on Saturday. Lauryn Payne led the Lobos with 14 kills. She also had 10 digs for a double-double. Overall, the team had 48 kills, but fell to the Broncos 3-1.
