🔼 Record Fashion. The football team scored a school-record 42 points in the second quarter in a 70-7 win over Mercyhurst on Saturday. UNM’s defense recorded six takeaways with four interceptions and two fumble recoveries. Scottre Humphrey scored two touchdowns. Kiefer Sibley, Jerod Terry Jr., Toa Fa’avae, Deshaun Buchanan, Luke Moga, Troy Omeire, Cade Keith and DJ Darling each scored.

🔼 Tie Game. The women’s soccer team tied with the New Mexico State Aggies on 1-1 on Saturday. Celina Frenz scored in the 10th minute. The Lobos had 15 shots and seven shots on goal. Goalkeeper Alyson Campbell had four saves. UNM is now 3-2-1 this season.
