🔼 Three Down. The women’s soccer team beat San Jose State 3-0 on Thursday in its Mountain West season opener. The Lobos had 16 shots and 11 shots on goal. Nicole Anderson scored twice and Alysa Whelchel scored once. Goalkeeper Alyson Campbell had three saves.

🔼 Top 3. The women’s golf team finished in third place at the Red Raider Invitational. The Lobos had a final score of 888 (+24). Ava Cepeda led the team with a score of 218 (+2). She tied for fifth place individually. Ausanee Udkamtiang, Chelsea Troung and Clara Rushmer all finished in the top-20 individually.

🔼 Court Report. The men’s tennis team had two players compete at the ITA All-American Championships. Dario Ciobotaru made it to the Round of 64, while David Schwarc made it to the Round of 128. New Mexico also competed at the Bedford Cup. UNM picked up three singles wins and two doubles wins.

🔼 We Want Photographers! When Lobo Football hosts UTEP on Saturday, October 3, at 2 p.m. at University Stadium, you could be on the sidelines covering that game. UNM Athletics external staff has designated the game against UTEP as its "New Mexico Creatives Game," where up-and-coming freelance photographers and videographers can gain real-world experience covering a Mountain West football game from the sidelines. To apply for the opportunity to be part of the Creatives Game, freelance photographers and videographers can apply using UNM's credential application link, located here. The application deadline is noon on Tuesday, September 29.
