🔼 In the Lead. The football team beat New Mexico State 42-18 on Saturday. The Lobos earned four points in the HB Construction Rio Grande Rivalry Series, and UNM now leads 5-1. Scottre Humphrey (2), James Laubstein (2), Kiefer Sibley and Brett Karhu each had touchdowns. Toa Fa’avae went 10-for-17 for 177 yards and one touchdown. Tavian Combs picked up his third interception of the season.

🔼 Top 3. The No. 2 cross country team competed in the Cowboy Jamboree on Saturday. The men won the team team title with 28 points. The women took third place with 70 points. Pasanjo Kitonga led the men with a first place finish. Mercy Kirarei led the women with a fourth place finish.

🔼 Anotha’ Win. The men’s golf team competed in the William H. Tucker Invitational. Johnnie Clark became the first player in UNM history to win three straight individual titles. Clark had a final score of 203 (-13) to tie for first place. The Lobos finished in second place with a score of 839 (-25). Thawyer Plewe tied for fourth place with a score of 206 (-10).

🔼 High Five! The women’s soccer team beat Nevada 5-2 on Sunday. Fiona Jenkins and Presley Devey scored two goals each. Claire Roybal added one goal. The Lobos had 19 shots and 10 shots on goal. UNM is now 5-2-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
