🔼 Across The Pond. Today, we’re welcoming the newest addition to the New Mexico men’s tennis team, Nicolas Recoura! The incoming freshman is from Antibe, France and has won several French Federation Tournaments. Additionally, he has a pair of ITF doubles titles in the Juniors ranks. His dad was a tennis player and coach and his grandfather was a high-level basketball player in France, according to Coach Chris Russell. Nicolas is a big addition to the Mountain West regular season champions.

🔼  Count ‘Em Down. There are now 38 days until kickoff in College Station, so we’re going to tell you about No. 38, David Murphy. The redshirt-freshman played in one game last season against Maine. He played high school football at Cleveland under New Mexico’s running backs coach, Heath Ridenour. In his last full season, he recorded 62 tackles with 3 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and 5 pass deflections.
