🔼 Gang’s All Here. New football head coach Bronco Mendenhall has announced his support staff! There are 11 full-time coaches and three support staff coaches. All 11 full-time coaches are from 11 different schools. The coaches include — Offensive Coordinator: Jason Beck, Defensive Coordinator: Nick Howell, Special Teams/Linebackers: Shane Hunter, Offensive Line: Famika Anae, Running Backs: Kirk Garner, Tight Ends: Matt Johns, Edge: Jan Jorgensen, Defensive Backs: Charles Mack, Receivers: Micah Simon, Strength Coach: Nate Pototschnik, Defensive Line: Donte Wilkins, Director of Operations: Joe Spaziani, Chief of Staff/Director of Player Personnel: Pat Hickman, Director of Scouting: Evan Butts.

🔼 Perfect Ten. The men’s basketball team has won 10 in-a-row! The Lobos got the 78-65 win over UC Irvine last night. Jaelen House led the team with 20 points and five assists. Donovan Dent and Nelly Junior Joseph had 12 points each, Nelly added seven rebounds. JT Toppin led the team in rebounds with 11. The Lobos improve to 11-1 as they head into the holiday break. They’ll be back at The Pit December 29 at they host Eastern New Mexico.

🔼 Foster Fast. The UNLV Invitational’s individual points champion is Lobo swimmer Jordan Foster! She won the 100-yard individual medley on Tuesday and grabbed a third-place finish in the B-Final of the 200-yard breaststroke. This was the first time she swam the 100-yard medley this season. She ended the meet with 75 points, two event wins, a third-place finish, sixth-place finish, and 11th. Katy McCarter finished fifth in the A-Final of the 100-yard free with a season-high time. Alice English earned fourth-place in the 3-meter dive and scored an NCAA Zones qualifying mark. Kristen Hepfer also qualified for Zones.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Seven New Mexico football players received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors! Dimitri Johnson, Wyatt McClour, Bryce Santana, Hunter Rappola, Ryan Davis, Andrew Erickson, and Aaron Rodriguez earned Academic All-District and will have a chance to be named Academic All-Americans. To be selected, student-athletes must have a 3.5 GPA or higher and playing in 90% of all contests.
