🔼 Meet The Newcomers. Two members of the 2024 class signed with New Mexico on National Signing Day. John Sierra of Las Cruces and Sa’Kylee Woodard of Tucson are a pair of All-State student-athletes that will be joining the Lobos. John is a linebacker and the first high school signee from Las Cruces to come to New Mexico since 2016. Sa’Kylee played both sides of the line, but will play offensive line as a Lobo. He led his team to an undefeated season and a 4A state title.
🔼 Top-20 Test. The women’s basketball team will take on No. 20 Gonzaga at their place today at 2 pm. It’ll be the Lobos’ first ranked opponent of the season. These two teams haven’t met since 2004. You can watch live on ESPN+. After this game, they’ll be back in action for one more before the New Year. Next Saturday, December 30, they’ll head to Nevada to close the 2023 portion of the season.
🔼 Looking For Eleven. The men’s basketball team will host Eastern New Mexico next Friday, December 29. The Lobos are chasing their 11th-straight win. Lil’ Lobo Kids Club members will get to enjoy a pre-game hangout with Louie at 6 pm before the game tips off at 7 pm. To RSVP, email [email protected]. If your Lil’ Lobo isn’t a member of the Kids Club, you can purchase a membership now!
