🔼 Hear Ye’, Hear Ye’. Gather around, Coach Richard Pitino held a summer press conference yesterday with Jamal Mashburn Jr. and Jaelen House. Coach Pitino touched on players internationally, new players, and summer overall. Get ready for the upcoming season, and don’t forget to get your season tickets!

🔼 Center Stage. New Mexico Lobo Sebastian Forsling will be in action for the Sweden Men’s National Team next week. The 7-foot center will be wearing yellow and blue in the friendly games and FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifiers from August 12-20 in Turkey. This will not be his first FIBA rodeo, he was a member of Team Sweden at the 2022 FIBA U20 European Championships. He shot 71.4% from the floor for the Lobos last season as a sophomore. He also made 13 starts as a freshman in the 2021-2022 season.

🔼 All Shook Up. We’re counting down the days until Lobo football returns and we’re now just 46 days away! In honor of 46, we’re going to look back at one of the great No. 46’s, Brandon Shook. He led the team with 60 tackles and earned All-Mountain West Conference second-team honors in 2020, his senior year. That season, he also made 19 tackles against Air Force which was the most tackles in a game by a Mountain West player that season. He totaled 5 forced fumbles throughout his career along with 1 interception.

On The Road, Again. Lobos on the Road continues next week as athletic administrators and coaches hit the highway to Santa Fe! Lobo fans are free to join at the new Boxcar location in Santa Fe on Monday, July 24 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. There will be lobo swag, giveaways, good food, and a cash bar.
