📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Eyes Forward. The Lobos fell to San José State over the weekend due to a slow second half. New Mexico led 17-14 at halftime, but the Spartans turned up the heat and scored on six of their first seven drives in the second half. Jacory Croskey-Merritt scored twice in the first half, take a look at this 4th-down trickery. Luke Drzewiecki kicked off the scoring, making his longest field goal of the season at 41 yards out. Ultimately, the Lobos fell 52-24. They look ahead to Hawaii this weekend at University Stadium.

🔼 Early Riser. A freshman diver stood out this weekend at the double dual with Colorado State and Air Force. Alice English started it off by winning the 3-meter dive, her first collegiate event. She went on to win the 1-meter dive on day two and qualified for NCAA Zones. Jordan Foster led the swim team with a third-place finish in the 50-yard breast stroke. They’ll be back in the pool on November 4 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

🔼 Best, Yet. The men’s cross country team got their best finish at Thomas Zimmer Course since 2014! The Lobos finished 14th at the loaded Nuttycombe Invitational, an event with 10 top-30 teams. They beat all 10 of those teams and four top-15 teams. Three men’s runners finished in the top-50. The women’s team finished in 25th and had a top-25 finish by Nicola Jansen.

🔼 Just Do It. The Lobos have been wearing Nike since 2008, and they’ll continue to do so until at least 2027! New Mexico and Nike have extended their contract through the 2026-27 academic year. The Lobos have won 64 conference titles since being paired with Nike.
