📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Three-Peat. Count ‘em! JT Toppin was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week for the third-straight week! He now owns seven of these honors so far this season. The rookie also turned in his seventh double-double of the season last week, tying the New Mexico freshman record. He averaged 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game through the Lobos two wins last week.

🔼 House Of Honor. The Lobos ended up sweeping the Mountain West weekly awards, as Jaelen House was named the Player of the Week. He averaged a whopping 19.5 points per game, plus five assists and four steals per game. Against Nevada, he scored 21 points with six assists and six steals. That performance was the first 20point/6assist/6steal game in the conference in over 14 years.

🔼 Taking Over. The Lobos continued dominating the Mountain West weekly honors when the women’s basketball winners were released. Nyah Wilson was named the Mountain West Player of the Week! She averaged 24 points per game, plus seven rebounds. She recorded her first career double-double against Air Force over the weekend. Nyah has played a huge role in the Lobos’ four-game win streak. This is the second-straight week a Lobo women’s basketball player has earned the honor.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Movin’ On Up. No. 25 was too low for the Lobos this week. The men’s basketball team came in at No. 19 in the AP Poll and No. 20 in the Coaches Poll! This is the highest the Lobos have been ranked since the 2013-14 season.
