🔼 Back Home Lobos. The Lobos host UNLV on Saturday in University Stadium at 4pm. It’s Salute to Service and Hall of Honor Night. There will be service vehicles in the Howl Zone, a helicopter flyover before the game, a joint color guard, and a swearing-in ceremony. The 2023 Hall of Honor Class will be celebrated on the field as well. The Lobos are looking for their second conference win of the season, while the Rebels are coming off a loss to Fresno State. If you can’t make it out, you can tune in on the Mountain West Network.

🔼  Lead The Pack. A couple of Lobos are leading the conference in statistics. Tight end Trace Bruckler leads the Mountain West in pressure efficiency among tight ends! Jacory Croskey-Merritt is first in the conference in touchdowns with 12, second in missed tackles forced (37), and third in yards after contact (386). J.C Davis leads the conference with a 91.3 pass blocking grade.

🔼 Kait Is Great. Lobo volleyball player Kaitlynn Biassou became No. 2 in program history in kills and total points! The Lobos defeated Boise State last night to get the series sweep! They’re now 8-1 in true road games and 9-4 in conference play. The Lobos will head to Utah State to play at 1pm on Saturday.

🔼  All Amat. Lobo men’s golfer Bastien Amat was named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Month for October! This is the second time he’s received this honor in his career. He won the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, the Lobos’ only event of the month. Bastien shot the second-lowest 54-hole total in program history when he fired 16-under 197. Last month, Lobo Matthew Watkins was the Golfer of the Month.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Mr. Lobo. Former Lobo Mitch Garver is now a World Series Champion! He won the trophy with the Texas Rangers this week, and had an outstanding postseason. He had 11 hits, 13 RBIs, 3 home runs, and 22 total bases! At New Mexico, he was a two-time UNM Athletic Hall of Honor Athlete of the Year.
