Mic’d Up. Lobo defender Jermarius Lewis has been lighting it up in the secondary this season. He made the Defensive Play of the Week last weekend. We decided to jump into practice and follow him around!

🔼 Let’s Go Round Two. The Lobo volleyball team is hitting the road for a pair of rematches this week! They’ll play at Boise State tonight at 7pm before heading to Utah State for a 1pm matchup on Saturday. New Mexico got the win over Boise State earlier this season, but fell to Utah State in four sets. The Lobos hold second-place in the conference, behind Utah State. Boise State sits behind New Mexico, in third-place.

🔼 Onto The Real Deal. The men’s basketball team finished the preseason with an 86-73 win over New Mexico Highlands last night. Jamal Mashburn Jr. led the Lobos with 25 points, 14 of those came in the second half. Donovan Dent also jumped in the twenties, scoring 23 points for the second time in two games. They’ll officially start the season on Monday when they host Texas Southern in The Pit at 7:30pm.

In The Ranks. After a winning weekend at the Mountain West Championships, the Lobo men’s cross country team checked in at No. 19 nationally by the USTFCCCA. They landed third in the Mountain Region Rank. The men won their first Mountain West Championship since 2014. Tune in to Coach Gauson’s press conference after winning Coach of the Year honors!
