Today, four Lobos receive academic honors and student-athletes received their stoles.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Class Act. Four Lobo volleyball players were named to the Academic All-District Team by College Sports Communicators! Uxue Guereca, Kaitlynn Biassou, Melissa Walden, and Kali Wolf earned the honors and Uxue is advancing for Academic All-America consideration.

  • Uxue will graduate this spring with a bachelor’s in exercise science. She’s held a 3.61 cumulative GPA while being a Mountain West All-Conference player.

  • Kaitlynn graduated with a liberal arts degree last spring and is set to complete a race & social justice graduate certificate. She has a 3.55 GPA and was also a Mountain West All-Conference player. She and Uxue combined for nearly half of New Mexico’s total point output this season.

  • Melissa will graduate in the spring with a bachelor’s in communication. She posted a cumulative 3.75 GPA while leading the team with a career-high 942 assists and 13 double-doubles this season.

  • Kali graduated last spring with her bachelor’s after just three years of school. She’s pursuing a master’s in biomedical engineering this year and has a 3.96 GPA. She was a co-captain for the Lobos and had the fourth-most kills on the team.
