📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Lobo Luck. The men’s basketball team went undefeated in the Ball Dawgs Classic in Las Vegas over the holiday break! They picked up wins over Toledo, Rice, and Pepperdine in dominant fashion. The Lobos had five double-figure scorers in back-to-back games. Tru Washington and Donovan Dent recorded their first career double-doubles over the weekend. They’ll start a three-game homestand when they host Louisiana Tech on Wednesday.

🔼 Seventeen Again. The women’s basketball team fell to Georgia Tech in Cancun over the break, where Aniyah Augmon and Nyah Wilson both scored 17 points. Aniyah had her fifth double-digit game of the season and Nyah had her fourth. They’ll be back in The Pit for a six-game homestand as they host Eastern Illinois on Tuesday.

🔼  Season Finale. The Lobos lost in a double overtime shootout against Utah State. Jacory Croskey-Merritt became the first Lobo to have back-to-back 200-yard games, no other Lobo has had two in a season. He finished the game with 233 yards and surpassed 1,000 yards for the season. Despite the disappointing finish, the Lobos had their most wins since 2016.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

The volleyball team ended the season just one match shy of the Mountain West Tournament Championship. Let’s recap the year!

• The Lobos ended with a 19-12 overall record and 10-8 in conference play.

• They finished tied for fourth in the conference, their best finish since 2015.

• They advanced to the Mountain West Semifinals for the first time since 1999.

• Kaitlynn Biassou and Uxue Guereca earned Mountain West All-Conference honors.
