🔺 Mr. Clutch. Men’s basketball player Nelly Junior Joseph has been named the Mountain West Player of the Week! He recorded a pair of double-doubles in last week’s wins over Fresno State and Nevada. He averaged 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game throughout the week. His 15-foot jumper was the final dagger in the overtime win against Nevada. It was New Mexico’s first game-winning shot as time expired since 1998-99.

🔺 Trip To Cowboy Country. The men’s basketball team is on the road tonight! They’ll play at Wyoming at 8 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. The Lobos are co-leaders of the Mountain West as they sit 4-0 in conference play. The Cowboys are 2-2 in conference play and are coming off a win over Air Force.

🔺 Playing With The Lead. The women’s basketball team has had an impressive 3-0 start to Mountain West play. The Lobos have led for 108:04 and have trailed for only 8:08 through conference play. They haven’t been down by more than four points in any Mountain West game.
