🔺 Comeback Kids. Despite a 14-point deficit at halftime, the Lobos defeated Wyoming 61-53 on the road! The men’s basketball team outscored the Cowboys 43-21 in the second half. Donovan Dent led New Mexico with 22 points and six assists. Two Lobos recorded double-doubles as Filip Borovicanin scored 16 with 11 rebounds and Nelly Junior Joseph scored 12 points with 12 rebounds. The Lobos secured their best-ever start to Mountain West play at 5-0.

🔺 We’re Home. It’s time for the women’s basketball team to take on Wyoming! They’ll host the Cowgirls tonight at 7 p.m. Both teams enter the game undefeated in conference play, with the Lobos holding the better record. New Mexico is 3-0 in Mountain West play and 10-6 overall, while the Cowgirls are 2-0 in conference and 8-6 overall.

🔺 Fantastic Four. Four Lobo football players earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the 2024 season! Aaron Rodriguez, Bakara Beckett, Kader Diop, and Malik Aliane were recognized as top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Rodriguez and Beckett were forwarded for potential Academic All-America consideration.
