🔺 Big Stage. Both the men’s and women’s golf teams will compete on a national stage at the inaugural NB3 Match Play at Twin Warriors. They’ll compete today and tomorrow against New Mexico State, Stanford, and Texas. The Twin Warriors Golf Club is the backdrop of the International Balloon Fiesta and fans can take in New Mexico on national television. The tournament will air on the Golf Channel and Peacock from 3:30-6:30 p.m. today and 2:30-5:30 p.m. tomorrow.

🔺 History Lesson. UTEP is officially joining the Mountain West Conference, which means the Miners and the Lobos will be conference rivals for the third time! The two competed in the Border Conference in the 1930s and ‘40s, then in the WAC from 1970-99. Lobo men’s basketball defeated UTEP to win the 1993 WAC Tournament! With the new addition, there will be plenty more electric games between the two.
