📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Let’s Dance. The Lobos men’s cross country team is headed to the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2014! They’re one of 13 at-large teams that qualified. Habtom Samuel had another amazing weekend and won the Mountain Region Championship. Joining them will be Nicola Jansen from the women’s team. She qualified as an individual thanks to her runner-up finish at regionals. The NCAA Championship race is set for November 18.

🔼 Just Keep Winning. The women’s basketball team won their third-straight game yesterday! They beat Tarleton 64-55, with three Lobos scoring double digits. Paula Reus and Nyah Wilson led the team with 16 points each, while Viané Cumber had 12 with three three-pointers. Nyah had a team and career-high nine rebounds and went 8-for-9 from the free throw line. The Lobos will stay home and host Texas A&M-Commerce on Wednesday at 7pm.

🔼  Senior Saturday. The Lobo volleyball team celebrated Senior Day the right way! They beat Nevada in five sets in an important game to earn their tenth Mountain West win. Kaitlynn Biassou had 21 kills, eight digs, and nine total blocks. Uxue Guereca recorded her 12th double-double of the year. The Lobos need to win one of their next two to clinch a spot in the Mountain West Tournament. Next, they’ll head to Colorado State for a Thursday match at 7pm.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

There’s a new leader in town! Kaitlynn Biassou had a senior day to remember on Saturday, she became No. 1 in points and kills in program history. It was her final home match of her five-year career.
