🔺 Rally Cap. The men’s basketball team got their first Mountain West win last night! They defeated San José State 83-77 after rallying from a 13-point deficit. Donovan Dent led the Lobos with 20 points and five assists. Mustapha Amzil scored 19 points, while Nelly Junior Joseph recorded his third double-double of the season. He scored 16 points and added 10 rebounds. The Lobos are 11-0 in Mountain West openers at The Pit.

🔺 Welcome Home. Yesterday was National Signing Day for incoming football players and the Lobos signed 10! Two linebackers, three defensive backs, two edge rushers, and one defensive lineman come in on the defensive side of the ball. The offense featured an offensive lineman and a running back. 🔺 Revving Up. Lobo cross country freshman Pamela Kosgei was named one of four finalists for the Class of 2025 Honda Sport Award for Cross Country! The award recognizes the top female athlete in the sport this season. Kosgei was the national runner-up at the NCAA Championships after winning the Mountain West Conference and Mountain Region Individual titles. She was also named All-American, Mountain West Athlete & Freshman of the Year, and USTFCCCA Mountain Region Athlete of the Year. She becomes the fourth Lobo women’s runner to be named a finalist.

OMBUDSMEN ARE ADVOCATES. VOLUNTEER TODAY!

Ombudsmen are volunteer advocates for residents in New Mexico’s nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Ombudsmen play a crucial role in ensuring the rights, dignity, and well-being of these individuals.

By becoming an Ombudsman, you’ll help resolve complaints, address concerns about care, and improve the overall quality of life for residents. Training and ongoing support are provided to equip you with the tools needed to make a meaningful impact in your community.
