🔺 Anotha One. Yesterday, we told you that Nelly Junior Joseph was named Mountain West Player of the Week. Today, we’re telling you he’s been named one of five Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week! He averaged a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds per game last week.

🔺 Hump Day Hoops. The men’s basketball team will host Wyoming tonight at 8 p.m. on FS1. Tonight’s game will feature a Teddy Bear Toss — bring any new stuffed animal to toss onto the court at halftime! Every donation helps a child in need. You can register your donation at the main Northeast entrance before the game to be entered to win a gift basket! Click here for 25% off select tickets.

🔺 Keep ‘Em Coming. For the third-straight week, multiple Lobo athletes have earned Mountain West Track & Field honors. Brodie Young was named the Men’s Track Athlete of the Week after breaking a nearly 16-year-old school record in the men’s 400m. His 45.96 time is a Scottish indoor national record and ranks No. 2 among Mountain West performers all-time. Lou-Anne Pouzancre Hoyer was named Women’s Track Athlete of the Week after she ran the second-fastest women’s 400m time in program history! She also ran the final leg of the 4×400m relay that broke the Lobo record.

🔺 First One Done. The women’s golf team finished their first event of the spring with a 10th-place finish at the San Diego State Classic. Freshman Chelsea Truong was the Lobos’ top finished, tying for 38th at 12-over. The Lobos will play in the Bruin/Wave Invitational in two weeks.
