🔺 Sold Out Sunday. Lobo fans have sold out The Pit for Sunday’s game against Utah State! The two will tip off at 2 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. The Lobos enter the game 13-1 in conference play for the first time since finishing 13-1 in the WAC in 1977-78. Earlier this month, New Mexico defeated the Aggies on the road, 82-63.

🔺 Desert Dogs. Lobo baseball is here! They open up the season at the MLB Desert Invitational in Arizona this weekend. They’ll get things started today against Austin Peay at 5:30 p.m. Tomorrow, they’ll play UC Irvine at 12:30 p.m. and Seton Hall at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Fans can watch all of the games for free on MLB.com.

🔺 Ice, Ice, Baby. The women’s basketball team won a thriller last night! They defeated Boise State 88-83, highlighted by a Vianè Cumber three to extend the lead to five with under 10 seconds remaining. She finished the game with 27 points and five three’s. Alyssa Hargrove recorded a double-double with 11 rebounds and 10 assists. The Lobos won’t play until Wednesday when they travel to San José State.

🔺 Softball In SanMo. The Lobo softball team is back in Texas for another tournament this weekend! They’ll participate in the Bobcat Tournament at Texas State in San Marcos. They’ll play two today with Fordham at 11:15 a.m. and St. Thomas at 6 p.m. Tomorrow, they’ll take on Texas State at 3:45 p.m. and St. Thomas at 6 p.m. They’ll wrap things up on Sunday against Texas State at 11:15 a.m.

🔺 Split Picture. The Lobo track & field team is splitting up again this weekend. A distance squad will compete at the UW Husky Classic, while everyone else stays home to host the Don Kirby Elite Invitational. Both events will run today and tomorrow.

🔺 Booked & Busy. The men’s and women’s tennis teams have a jam-packed weekend! The men’s team will play three matches in Oregon - two at Oregon against the Ducks and Louisiana, then one at Portland. The women’s team heads to future Mountain West opponent UTEP today at 10 a.m. Then, they’ll travel to New Mexico State for an 11 a.m. match tomorrow.
