🔺 Destined To Win. The women’s basketball team picked up a 72-65 road win at San José State last night! A season-high five Lobos scored in double figures. Destinee Hooks led the game with 18 points, while Nayli Padilla scored 13 points off the bench. Alyssa Hargrove, Joana Magalhães, and Viané Cumber also scored in the double-digits. Hulda Joaquim grabbed 11 rebounds with six on the offensive side.

🔺 Road Woes. Lobo men’s basketball scored 39 in each half, which proved to not be enough as they fell at Boise State 86-78. Donovan Dent recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 assists, while Nelly Junior Joseph also scored 17. Filip Borovicanin led the team with 18 points. The Lobos shift their focus to San Diego State next Tuesday.

🔺 Back-To-Back. Lobo runner Brodie Young was named the Mountain West Track Athlete of the Week for the second-straight week! He improved his own school record in the men’s 400m at the Don Kirby Elite last weekend. His performance moved him to ninth in the nation.

🔺 Early Impact. Women’s tennis player Maria Matsoukatidi was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week! She went 3-0 in singles and doubles over the weekend.
