📈 STOCK UP

🔺 One Of The Best. Head men’s basketball coach Richard Pitino was named to the Werner Ladder Naismith Men’s Coach of the Year Watch List! He has the Lobos at a 22-5 overall record in his fourth season at the helm. They’ll take on San Diego State on the road tomorrow at 9 p.m.

🔺 For The Seniors. The women’s basketball team beat Utah State 73-65 on Senior Day at The Pit! Vianè Cumber, Amhyia Moreland, and Hulda Joaquim were honored for their time at New Mexico. Cumber scored 20 points and made five or more threes for the 15th time in her career. Joaquim led the Lobos with 10 rebounds. They’ll head to Wyoming on Wednesday for a 6:30 p.m. matchup.

🔺 Winning Weekend. Lobo softball finished the weekend with a 3-2 record at the Tarleton Invitational. They picked up two wins over Texas Southern and one over North Dakota. Their two losses came to North Dakota and host Tarleton. McKenna Guest and Natalie Fritz combined for 11 strikeouts and a shutout in the 2-0 win over North Dakota on Friday. On Saturday, the Lobos split the day as they scored 19 runs on 22 hits against Texas Southern and North Dakota. Fritz proceeded to strike out 11 batters on her own against Texas Southern in Sunday’s 13-3 run-rule win.

🔺 Series Split. Lobos baseball split the four-game weekend 2-2 with Northern Colorado! After dropping the first two games, the Lobos bounced back. They won game three 13-4 behind five home runs and dominance on the mound from Diego Alvarez and Ty Cunningham. They took the weekend finale 12-7 on Sunday with home runs from Khalil Walker and Jordy Oriach. Akili Carris drove in a team-high four RBIs.

The Professional Bull Riders return to the PIT March 28-30th! Get your tickets early and be there for the biggest party on dirt, trust us it’s one party you won’t want to miss.
