🔺 Best In The Mountain West. The men’s basketball team is 11-1 in Mountain West play for the first time ever! They become just the eighth Mountain West team to start 11-1 or better in the conference. Donovan Dent and CJ Noland scored 19 points apiece to lead the Lobos. Nelly Junior Joseph was close behind, scoring 18 and grabbing 11 rebounds for a double-double. Tru Washington was the final Lobo in double-digit scoring with 15 points. The Lobos will head to Air Force on Saturday for a 2 p.m. matchup.

🔺 Preseason Praise. Two Lobo baseball players were named to the All-Mountain West Preseason Team! Outfielders Khalil Walker and Will Asby earned the honors after being named All-Mountain West last season. New Mexico was one of three teams tied for fourth in the Mountain West Preseason Coaches’ Poll.

🔺 It’s Time. Softball season is here! The Lobos will spend the weekend in Texas at Sam Houston and the University of Houston. They’ll start the season today against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 1:30 p.m., then they’ll play Sam Houston at 4 p.m. The Lobos hold a winning streak over both teams.
