🔺 We’re In! The men’s basketball team is dancing! They’re headed to Cleveland for opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament. They own the No. 10 seed in the South Region and will play No. 7 Marquette on Friday at 5:25 p.m. This is New Mexico’s 17th NCAA Tournament appearance, and second straight.

🔺 Strong Showing. The Lobos had a strong showing at the NCAA Indoor Championships! Habtom Samuel finished runner-up in the men’s 5K and Pamela Kosgei finished third in the women’s 5K. Samuel, Kosgei, and Ishmael Kipkurui earned Second Team All-Americans in the 3,000m. Samuel matched Alice Wright for the most All-American honors by a UNM athlete.

🔺 Break Out The Brooms. Lobo baseball swept UNLV in Mountain West opening weekend! They won easily on Friday and Saturday with 12-6 and 13-3 wins, respectively. The Lobos had to battle on Sunday and score five runs in the bottom of the ninth for an 11-8 win! Andrew Neil started and ended the scoring with home runs in the first and ninth innings.

🔺 Strong Start. Lobo softball took the series from San José State after winning Saturday and Sunday’s games! Jessica DeLeon scored DeNae Vasquez-Dickson to walk it off and win 5-4 on Saturday. Ashley Archuleta led the Lobos in Sunday’s 6-4 win, going 4-4 at the plate.

🔺 Our State. The Lobo men’s tennis team easily took down rival New Mexico State, 6-1. They took a pair of doubles matches, then quickly clinched the win in singles. They’ll face Northern Arizona on Friday.

The Professional Bull Riders return to the PIT March 28-30th! Get your tickets early and be there for the biggest party on dirt, trust us its one party you won’t want to miss.
