🔺 All Good Things Must End. What a ride! A historic Lobo men’s basketball season came to an end last night in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32. The 10-seed Lobos fell to 2-seed Michigan State 71-63. Nelly Junior Joseph led the Lobos with 16 points, while Mustapha Amzil and Donovan Dent scored 14 each. The weekend saw New Mexico winning its first NCAA Tournament game since 2012.

🔺 Streak Lives On. The men’s tennis team stayed hot over the weekend, improving to a five-match winning streak. They defeated Northern Arizona 6-1 on Friday, clinching the match in under two hours. They shut out UTSA on Sunday, 7-0, to remain undefeated at home. They’ll open conference play on Thursday, hosting Nevada at 1 p.m.

🔺 Strong Start. The men’s golf team started play at the Hootie at Bulls Bay yesterday! The Lobos shot 3-under in the first round to finish the day in ninth. Mesa Falleur led the team as he sits tied for sixth at 4-under. The tournament will continue today and tomorrow.

🔺 Went The Distance. Lobo baseball was able to take one from Nevada over the weekend. They beat the Wolf Pack 6-4 in 12 innings on Friday night, scoring two runs in the 12th to put ‘em away. Daxton Purser threw six shutout innings while striking out a career-high 11. The Lobos picked up their first conference losses on Saturday and Sunday.
