📈 STOCK UP

🔺 We Run This. New Mexico reminded the team down South who runs this state! Lobo baseball defeated New Mexico State 12-10 to improve to 3-0 over the Aggies this year. Will Asby hit his seventh home run of the season, finishing the night with three hits. Khalil Walker finished the night with three RBI.

🔺 KiloWatts. Two-sport athlete Cam Watts was so electric, he was named the Mountain West Track Athlete of the Week! He won the 100m event at the UTEP Sun City Classic in program record-breaking fashion. He leads the Mountain West performance list in the 100m and ranks top-50 in the nation. He also contributed to the winning 4×100m relay squad.

🔺 Road Woes. The Lobos tied the game in the second inning but ultimately fell at UTEP, 10-2. Ashley Archuleta went 2-for-2 and added a walk for New Mexico. Caprice Barela went two innings in the circle, finishing with three strikeouts.

🔺 Five On It. The women’s golf team sits in fifth-place after the first round of the Mountain West Championship. Chelsea Truong led the Lobos as she sits tied for fifth individually at even par. The tournament continues today and concludes tomorrow.
